Blog: verb; publish one's own thoughts and opinions online for others to read (I think it's just to suffice that basic human need of being able to speak out loud for the world hear, despite what responses they may receive.) and comment upon.
My last blogging phase ran for the duration of my first 6 months here in Beijing and I received a number of comments from various people: 2 parts praise, 2 parts criticism, 3 parts "where's the naked lady links". Well, the aim of my old blog was to primarily document my travels, events and observations in/of China. Admittedly, at times, it was written rather pretentiously and lacked a variety of content outside my travels. So, a new idea behind this blog; entitled "In 1 Year..." entails a more concise content based on the more distinct differences between China and My homeland of Great Britain, as well as documenting a lot of the main "goings-on" within this great country which is currently the talk of the world (away from the War on Terror).
And I also found this race which I stumbled upon here. Pretty cool, although, retty predicatable.
So, in 1 year, how much can one really do? I'm open to answers, hoping for optimism and expecting... well, nothing.
